Building on the success of City Gate Ignite, myself, Dan Baker, Matt Hall and Beth Shouler set about created the first ever Plymouth Fringe Festival in partnership with Theatre Royal Plymouth, Barbican Theatre and Plymouth University and with support from Plymouth Culture and Arts Council England.
The first Plymouth Fringe Festival will take place from Monday 25th – Saturday 30th May 2015.
From the City Centre to the Waterfront, Plymouth will buzz with performers and audiences experiencing fresh and inspiring new shows.
Plymouth Fringe Festival is a week long celebration of live performance, featuring some of the most exciting companies from across the UK as well as the very best in home grown talent from the South West.
Over 50 performances will take place in various places across the city including The Lab, Barbican Theatre and The House and some unexpected places too.
Join us as we celebrate with a range of theatrical delights – right on the doorstep of Devon and Cornwall audiences.
Plymouth Fringe Festival is being curated by Toast, a new theatre development organisation for Plymouth, in partnership with Theatre Royal Plymouth, Barbican Theatre and Peninsula Arts.
Plymouth Fringe is supported by Arts Council England and Plymouth Culture.
